“Sure we all will assemble, in our own little town,
Our birth place is calling, we can't let it down,
We'll fly or hitch hike it, or go by shanks mare,
To that town in the valley on the West Coast of Clare”
Ennistymon on the Inagh will host an outdoor concert on Friday August 27th at 7pm. The verse is from the great song, Ennistymon on the Inagh penned by Tadhg Haren and the music for the occasion will be Enda Haren and Band with friends and guests to complete the evening.
The band members are:
• Adam Shapiro.
• Quentin Cooper.
• Mark Burke.
• James Barry.
• John O Connell.
• Mary Haran McGlennon,
The venue is the Old CBS Primary School yard, which has been refurbished over the past three years by a local group EDSAP (Ennistymon and District Sports and Amenity Partnership) and has now a multi-use Astro- turf surface used for a wide variety of outdoor activities and sports. The Yard project has been supported by the CBS Secondary School, local clubs, volunteers, Clare Council, and public representatives thus the theme Play Your Part!
All proceeds will go towards equipment and running costs for the Yard as it expands its use.
Great to see live music back in a safe environment. All current Covid protocols will be in force and the attention of attendees will be directed to all of these.
The concert will be streamed live from "Enda Haren Music" Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/endaharan2017/
