Elm Tree: Remembering Eugene Madsen
Donation protected
My dad, Eugene Madsen, died suddenly in August 2017. Many knew him as a teacher, a student, a colleague, a musician, an athlete, and a friend. All knew of his incredible respect for nature, his awe of the beauty of the world we live in, and his knack for finding humor in all things.
Our family is dedicating a tree at the Cornell Botanic Gardens in honor of Eugene so that the community that loved him has a beautiful place to remember him and his memory will live on at Cornell. We've chosen an elm tree because he signed his artwork and humorous cartoons with his initials, "elm", and we are sure he would appreciate the pun.
In honor of my dad, please donate to this fund which will care for his elm tree, generously given to us in his memory by the Cornell MPH Department, for many years to come.
