Hi!

Our names are Diya and Avani, and we are two high school students who have a goal to raise and donate $1400 to an organization called Puget Soundkeeper!

Every year around 33 billion pounds of trash is dumped in the ocean, The marine life faces the detrimental effect over this, over the last few years, 300 million marine animals died simply because of plastic ingestion.

Founded in 1984, Puget Soundkeeper is an organization that aims to eliminate trash and waste from the ocean. With over 2500 volunteers, it is the biggest clean water organization in Washington state and has helped remove over 145,000 pounds of marine debris from the Puget Sound waterways. We want to help them because we believe that our environment is deteriorating and it is crucial for us to start making changes in order to survive.
