Hi everyone, my name is Kyra and I’m fundraising on behalf of my dad who’s planned this event on Christmas Day alongside Chloe. How did this come about? Well let me give you a back story…

Basically, we live in Clydebank and my dad went into the chippy one casual evening, there happened to be an older lady standing in front of my dad chatting to Chloe who works in the chippy. At the end of their conversation my dad then went to order and Chloe spoke to my dad about how she is always touched by this ladies visit and she’s always keen to chat to the staff in the chippy and how it indicates how she may be quite lonely. They then got on to the topic of Christmas time and how it can be so difficult at Christmas for some people with no family or friends and Chloe spoke about how it makes her so sad and how she’d love to make a change.

My dad’s reply? ‘Let’s do it then’. And that’s when the planning started and the ball’s been rolling ever since

We are doing a Christmas dinner in the Coffee Club on Great Western Road in Clydebank and anyone without family/lonely on Christmas is welcome to come along.

The thought of anyone sitting alone with no family/friends or company on Christmas is so sad and not something anyone should have so suffer ❤️‍ “just another day” is not the mentality anyone should have.

So… my question to YOU - do you know anyone that could benefit from this experience? If so, please message me or Chloe on Facebook - either a call or a message and we will take a note of everyone that’s shown an interest/may show an interest.

The plan is then to have drivers to collect anyone attending at around 11:30am and it will then start at 12pm, one driver will be available to pick up 4 people and they can come, enjoy their Christmas dinner and entertainment, maybe a few drinks too and it will then finish at 4pm which everyone will be then driven back home again ❤️

I used to work in the care sector so I have a few people to contact regarding this but if you know anyone within the care sector then please send this on to them so we’re not forgetting anyone that this could make a difference to ✨

Christmas SHOULD be a magical time of year for everyone regardless of the situation you are in❤️

If you can spare ANY pennies to donate to this to get the ball rolling and get this event planned and underway, anything big or small will be SO appreciated ❤️

✨ - just to note as well, any left over funds at the end of this event will ALL go to St.Margaret’s Hospice
