Christmas JOY for Children in Ollantaytambo, Perù
Donation protected
Join us this season to spread Christmas JOY and cheer!
The Christmas Chocoladata is a traditional event in Peru where steaming cups of hot chocolate and a slice of panettone (Fruit cake) are shared amongst school groups, and comunites.
This year, we hope to spread Christmas JOY to families living in varios rural native communities by facilitating afternoons filled of fun relation building games, serving chocolatada and gifting food baskets and hand made toys.
We welcome You to participate in one or all aspects of these events. You may donate cups of Hot Chocolate and fruitcake 5 $( for students and community members), donate a food basket gift 20 $ (one per family) or donate an animal stick toy gift and income to the women for the making the toy 45 $ (includes fun games)
All donations includes the transportation to the communities.
By purchasing a toy, you are contributing double fold, first by providing an opportunity for Mothers to earn an extra income during the Christmas season by hand making these special toys and secondly by gifting a Christmas present to the children.
We will visit as many communities as we get the donations for events. If you want we can send you photos and videos afterwards from the event.
Joy Artesania has been working to improve women’s economic oportunities in the communities for the past 5 years .
Thank You for your support!
