Chrissy’s ticket to Freedom
Donation protected
Chrissy has an opportunity to leave the desert shelter after being abandoned there for over three years.
We have a wonderful training program for her to help her decompress, reset, resocialize again, and re transition to a home so she can have a life she always deserved .
Chrissy started off in a home, but when she was a puppy, her owner died, and her family dropped her off at Riverside shelter. She survived her euthanasia deadline, and when a kennel became available at the Humane Society of the desert, Chrissy was able to stay there. However, after three years have passed, no one has come for Chrissy. In order to save her life, we reached out to her brilliant trainer, who has years of experience with German shepherds, and she was excited and eager to take on Chrissy.
This is literally her ticket for freedom. We would need to raise 50% of this as a deposit before January 15 so so that it would secure her a spot in February. At this point in time, we feel she must be the only pet in the home She’s 5.5 yrs old, very sweet and affectionate with people. Smart, loyal, gentle and desperate to love on someone . After the training program, the trainer will help the adopter transition her to her home, and will also help up with follow up training lessons .
We’re so excited that Chrissy has this real chance at having the life she’s literally waited years for.
