Hello friends and family,
I am Sherri LeBaudour-Ewing writing to you all on behalf of my brother-in-law Chris Ewing. I have never posted a GoFundMe page for anyone, until now!
Difficult times inspire those who love you, to reach out to others for help! We love our brother Chris to the moon and back and always! Anybody that is blessed to have ever met and know him, will tell you what a wonderful man he is. He is kind, compassionate and sweet. Actually, he is a very gentle giant!
He was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer a year and a half ago. He has undergone a number of surgeries, including a very difficult colostomy bag attached after a surgery. His job at Whole Foods Market was holding out for him to return. All his coworkers are very hopeful about his return. Chris had a video chat with his doctor today and the news about the pathology report on the lymph nodes, sadly was not what we had hoped for :(
His insurance has now ran out and he has to go on cobra... we're waiting to find out what the cost for cobra is. We love the heck out of him and my husband, his brother, Dayton, are his roommates, and I guess, landlords, so at least he does not have to worry about his rent. He has other monthly expenses though, including the up and coming Cobra premiums.
I created this GoFundMe page to hopefully help Chris with some of his monthly costs through all his treatments. Any and all help you can give, no matter how small, will be helpful. He doesn't even know I'm creating this GoFundMe page. I would totally love to let him know how many people are out there supporting him. Thank you so very much for all your support. I promise to post updates.
