Lilly's TPLO Surgery

I adopted Lilly in 2021. A shy sweet little girl who was rescued from a hoarding situation in Oklahoma and brought to Minnesota. Seeing her sad face on that website there was not hesitation and I'd never applied so quickly. From that first day and the moment she came home, she’s been my shadow. She’s the kind of dog who just knows when I’m having a rough day, she’s pressed up against me, and when life is good, she’s right there sharing the joy. She’s goofy, fun-loving, and full of personality, the kind of dog that makes every moment brighter. At five years old, she should be enjoying her best years, running around and playing the way she loves to.

Recently, Lilly tore the ACL in her back left leg, and the vet also found a partial tear in her back right. Even simple things like getting up or walking across the room are painful for her now, and it’s hard to watch her struggle when all she wants is to move, play or climb up onto the couch and look out her window. The only real option to help her heal and prevent her right leg from completely tearing is TPLO surgery.

Asking for help like this isn’t easy for me, but I can’t afford the cost of surgery on my own. Lilly means the world to me, and I want to give her the chance to be herself again silly, happy, and pain-free.
