Rooted Magazine is a platform dedicated to amplifying the creative expression of underrepresented artists. We aim to challenge the status quo, showcase diverse artistic voices, and create an inclusive space for artists whose stories often go untold in mainstream media and pop culture.

Art is powerful—it tells stories, evokes emotions, and connects us to each other. However, the stories of underrepresented artists, particularly those from marginalized communities, often go untold. We’re passionate about changing that. Rooted will serve as a space where these artists can share their work and their voices. We believe in the power of art to challenge the status quo and create change. This is more than a magazine—it’s a movement to uplift diverse stories and perspectives in the art world.

How will we make this happen?

The funds we’re raising will go toward essential startup costs that will help us create a strong foundation for Rooted Magazine:

·      Website Development & Hosting: We’ll build an engaging, professional website where artists can showcase their work, and readers can explore the diverse voices featured in Rooted.

·      Marketing & Promotion: We’ll launch targeted campaigns to build a loyal community of readers, subscribers, and supporters who share our passion for diverse art.

·      Print & Digital Production: We’ll design and produce our first issue, both in print and digital formats, ensuring high-quality content that highlights the incredible artists we feature.

·      Artist Support: We want to pay our artists for their contributions, acknowledging the value they bring to the magazine and the broader art community.
