Help with Chicos recovery

Hello, my name is Casandra and my dog was in a random dog attack on Monday May 19th 2025 on the Penticton channel. I was advised to make a go fund me in relation to getting some help with medical bills and on going care needed for my boy.

On the evening of may 19th 2025 around 6 pm my friend was walking my dog on leash when another couple and their dog were approaching, my friend yelled out is your dog friendly they responded yes, let the dogs introduced they dropped their leash and their dog attacked mine immediately . There was no information given or any care afterwards of how the state of my small dog after being attacked by their big dog.

Chico has already had one surgery that ended in having 3 layers of stitches and a drain tube put in. He’s on antibiotics pain meds and another med to help with healing.

currently we are not out of the waters yet, he may need another surgery and still will need care for this healing process of drain removal and stitches removed .

Any extra money donated above his medical bills will be donated to an animal organization or spca
