Caring for Karen Szewczyk

As many of you are aware, our wonderful friend, teacher, colleague, math tutor, Karen Szewczyk has been diagnosed with stage one breast cancer. This form of breast cancer is aggressive. Yesterday she had her port put in so she can receive her chemotherapy treatments. She started chemotherapy treatments today and will continually have treatments for the next 4 1/2 months. After the chemotherapy treatments she will undergo a double mastectomy. Many of you are aware that insurance does not cover a lot of the medical expenses. With Kevin and Karen having two beautiful children in college, they will need us to help them as much as possible! I am asking that if you can possibly donate to help Karen and her family with the incurring costs of the numerous medical expenses. If you're not able to donate, can you please keep them in your prayers while they go through this difficult time? For those of you who can donate, ANYTHING is greatly appreciated!
