Care for Celia
Donation protected
On Friday Jan 5th, there was a terrible accident which seriously injured Celia (a precious Honduran orphan who Dr Micheal Scott and his wife, Allison, have been trying to adopt for over 5 years). As a result, Celia required emergency medical attention, ambulance transport, extensive diagnostics, and she is still hospitalized. Surgery has been proposed to repair her broken jaw, a plastic surgeon is involved to treat the cut on her chin, and doctors are still evaluating her for other internal injuries. Other children in the orphanage were also injured in the accident and required stitches, orthopedic braces, wheelchairs and walkers.
The funds collected in this account will be used specifically to pay for 1) Celia’s medical care, 2) costs involved in caring for the other injured children and 3) the repair/ replacement of Sister Edith’s mini-bus.
