Care and Love for Zach Mulla
Donation protected
We are coming together to raise funds and surround Tim Mulla (Zach's dad) and his family with love and prayers for their son, brother and friend - Zach.
Zach and his wife Kayla were married in July 2023 and were joyfully expecting their first child in just a few months. They were filled with happiness and excitement as they prepared for the magical journey of parenthood. Tragically, on Sunday June 15 (Father's Day), they were involved in a devastating car accident.
In an unimaginable turn of events, we are now mourning the loss of Kayla and their unborn baby, while Zach remains in a coma in the Intensive Care Unit at Kelowna General Hospital.
As you can imagine, there is an overwhelming amount to manage. The costs of travel and accommodation in Kelowna are significant challenges. Tim and his family are committed to supporting Kayla’s family with the necessary arrangements to honor and celebrate the beautiful woman she was. This is just the beginning of a long and uncertain road ahead.
Tim and his family want to express their deepest gratitude for the outpouring of love and prayers from Zach and Kayla’s friends, as well as their own friends, coworkers, and family. Your kindness has been a profound comfort during this difficult time. They also extend heartfelt thanks to the first responders and medical team in Grand Forks who provided urgent care before Zach was transferred to Kelowna. Lastly, they are deeply grateful to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Kelowna General Hospital for their dedicated care and for offering JoeAnna’s House as a place of refuge.
We understand that many are facing financial difficulties, so please know that your positive thoughts and prayers are equally valued and needed.
For those who can contribute, funds raised will help cover Tim's family's travel expenses, his lost income while supporting Zach, a contribution to the funeral arrangements for Kayla, care for their pets Dexter, Max, and Zeus, and other unforeseen expenses that will arise in the coming months.
On behalf of Tim, Natalie, and their family, thank you for your love and generosity.
