CARA Girls Rescue Centre based near Nairobi in Kenya

Hello Friends and Family!

We are Pádraig and Cate Rose, a father-daughter duo, will be volunteering at the CARA Girls Rescue Centre, located near Nairobi. Our mission is to contribute to the maintenance of the centre through tasks such as building, painting, cleaning, and general upkeep over 16 days.

CARA Projects, established in 2008 by a group of Irish volunteers, is dedicated to rescuing young girls whose lives have been severely impacted by challenges such as illness, poverty, inadequate housing, lack of sanitation, and disease. The CARA Girls Rescue Centre in Kibiko, Nairobi, provides a safe haven for girls, ranging in age from two to sixteen years.
