WHAT HAPPENED:
July 11, 2019 - Captain Pancakes unexpectedly fell over. His back paws uncontrollably curled and stuck out at odd angles. One of his front paws splayed as if he was stretching.
But he wasn't stretching or lying down for belly rubs, he was having a stroke.
He remained in that position for over 30 seconds while I rushed over to him and called his vet.
6.5 hours later, after pacing the ER and watching sad pet parents come in and out, I learned that Captain Pancakes has an enlarged heart. They believe he has heart disease.
WHY FUNDRAISING:
I'm doing this fundraiser for assistance with Captain Pancakes' ongoing medical bills. As a freelance artist who is about to attend school, this unexpected event could not have come at a worse time.
Your support will go directly towards some of his medication, radiographs, critical care charges, blood analysis, coagulation and blood pressure tests, visits with specialists, and much more.
