Captain Burt Hoyt – North Arlington Fire Dept.
Donation protected
Hoyt, a dedicated 35- year veteran of the Fire Department is married to Clair and is the father of 2 children, Jessica and Christopher. With many accolades under his belt, Captain Hoyt is the recipient of numerous awards and accommodations for actions taken while working at numerous fires and emergency situations. None more monumental was his tireless work on ground zero on September 11th, 2001, and the days following those horrible attacks on our great Nation. Not surprising, Captain Hoyt is quite humble about his work on ground zero as is most who served. Unfortunately, many of our First Responders have suffered the deadly fallout from these attacks. Cancer, Acute and Traumatic injuries, Airway and Digestive disorders, Mental Conditions, and musculoskeletal disorders have stricken many of these men and women. Captain Hoyt is no exception. Recently, Captain Hoyt has been diagnosed with Brain Cancer. He has 3 tumors on his brain where 1 is operable and the other 2 are not. He will begin weeks of aggressive Chemo and Radiation treatment starting Sept 20th 2021. The North Arlington Fire Department is asking for your help to assist Captain Hoyt and his Family with the monetary struggles they are now forced to endure as a result of 9-11 Cancer. Your prayers and support is greatly appreciated.
