Cancer treatment for Lamara

At 8 months old, Lamara was diagnosed with stage IV neuroblastoma, an aggressive childhood cancer. This cancer grew above her kidney and spread to her lymph nodes, bones, and liver before being caught and diagnosed at a routine neurological exam. The needed treatment includes rounds of chemotherapy, surgery, more chemotherapy, a bone marrow transplant and immunotherapy.
Lamara lives in Krasnodar region, Russia, with her Mom, Nadia, and Dad, Vano. Once diagnosed, the doctors started chemotherapy immediately in Krasnodar because of the aggressive nature of cancer. To get the treatment she needs, however, Lamara will still need to travel to Moscow, St. Petersburg or another country, where the cost of treatment is expensive and beyond the means for Lamara's family.
