Cancer has made it where I can't work need a bit of help

Hay every one I was diagnosed with lymphoma and it has made it where I cannot work at the moment I am receiving a small amount of money for sick pay but it is nowhere near what I need to sort out bills or generally get by in life I've also applied for government help I'm still waiting back on them but anything anyone can do to help out would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
