Camille's Brain Tumor Medical Fund
Donation protected
Camille is my daughter. She is 6 years old and such a wonderful, smart, sweet child. Unfortunately, 2 weeks ago she went in for an MRI and they found a large tumor in her brain. She was immediately admitted to the hospital and scheduled for surgery to remove the mass.
We are now 1 week and half post op. Camille is looking good, except she did suffer from some paralysis to the right side of her face. Camille is in a rehabilitation center learning how to re-use her muscles and is getting stronger every day. They are even letting us take her home tomorrow. She will, however, have to continue her rehabilitation as an outpatient.
Anyone who knows me knows I hate asking for help, but I know a lot of people want to help and this is the best way. I am asking for $10,000 to cover the out of pocket expenses not covered by her insurance, as well as money for any copays for her upcoming physical, occupational and speech therapy. Any money left over (if there is any) after all of this is said and done will go towards rewarding Camille for her strength by planning a trip to Disney World (looking to go some time end of this year or early next year). In the event that we raise excess funds, the rest will go into a 529 college savings fund for Camille.
I know not everyone can help out financially. I appreciate all of the support and prayers over the last couple weeks. For those who have helped out in other ways than financially, thank you so much for everything!
Love,
Kendra
