Caleb Bannon facing leukaemia at such a young age

Hi - My name is Jenelle Bannon and last week my family received the devastating news that my oldest son, Caleb, has leukaemia. Caleb is only 20 years old and has his whole life ahead of him. Those that know Caleb will tell you that he has a huge heart – he takes care of his family and community, and now we need to take care of him. Sadly, our community of Fort William First Nation has an abnormal number of rare cancer cases; while professionals look into what is causing that larger problem, we are now faced with the very real prospect of what cancer can do to a young person. For example, we have learned that chemotherapy treatments can cause males to become sterile, not to mention other complications. Your donation will help to cover costs not otherwise paid for by provincial health coverage – Caleb wants to be a father someday and your help can assist with that. Donations will also assist my husband and I while we take time away from work and other duties to be with him. No amount is too small – all donations are greatly appreciated.
