Please help us finish paying off our A&M hospital bill from the pigs we took in after a Caldwell animal breeder was shut down for cruelty and neglect to over 350 animals.
Last August, we took in 133 pigs who were inbred, emaciated, and infected with deadly respiratory issues. These pigs have required both physical and emotional rehabilitation, and many still suffer from trust issues with humans. Overall, they have come so far, are growing healthily, and truly are some of the most joyful, grateful, and resilient pigs we know.
Tragically, much of this bill was spent on pigs who have since crossed the Rainbow Bridge despite our best efforts and world-class medical care. We think of them and miss them daily, and work every day to do more for their friends and family.
Help us take care of this outstanding medical bill in memory of the pigs we lost, the beautiful survivors, and in preparation for future medical emergencies.
More information about Central Texas Pig Rescue: Central Texas Pig Rescue is an all-volunteer run organization that works to advocate on behalf of pigs everywhere. We focus on offering sanctuary to last-chance pigs who we have rescued from neglect, slaughter, abandonment, and animal testing. We share their stories and beautiful personalities with the world to help people meet and appreciate their unique qualities . We also provide education and resources for pig parents, advocate for rights for farmed animals, and are part of a large rehoming network to help pigs find new, loving homes. Our dream is for a more pig-positive world.
