FINAL UPDATE(#8): Bags of Love! ❤️

Purpose
The purpose of this fund raising is a long time goal of mine, and just the first piece of a bigger puzzle, but I am currently trying to raise money to buy necessities for the homeless population in the LA area. We will put the bags together, which are reusable, nylon drawstring backpacks, lightweight, to include; toiletries such as razors, shaving cream, bottled water to drink and use, toothbrush/paste, soap, hairbrush, washcloth and/or towel, deodorant, shampoo/conditione, thermal compact blankets, small pillows, $5 cash, pack of granola bars or nuts, or something healthy to eat, and something fun too! Nail polish, fun socks, lipstick, skullcap (stylish and warm), a book, etc.
If we raise our goal of $500, which can allow us to get much needed items and distribute them, our family will give an extra $250 in addition, making it $750 to spend on such greatly needed items. Not just for each to to use the items, but so that they each know someone cares enough about them and wants to help.
I will take pictures and share along the way so you can see where your heartfelt dollars are going, and what they're actually getting! We would love to hear their stories, and possibly be able to help in other significant ways as well.
If you think about it, we rescue dogs all the time (we ourselves are huge dog lovers), so let's help rescue our fellow humankind too. I know it's a small start, but everything begins somewhere!
$1, $2, $5, $10... there's no amount too small! Every penny counts! Nobody wants to be homeless, and we as human beings, we need to help each other with our hands and with our hearts. We are all the same ...some of us are in need of help, and some of us are able to help! Which are you? It may be small, again, it's a start. I'll keep you posted, I look forward to it!
