Frans journey to recovery

Hi my name is Fran and I'm 43years old..Just over 2 months ago I was diagnosed with stage 1b cancer.

I've had surgery to remove the tumour and surrounding lymph nodes, however following my surgery, as my lymph nodes were so inflammed, my surgeon changed the stage of my cancer to stage 4b. By some grace of God my boispy of the lymph nodes came back negative, but were sent off for a second opinion. 

I about to start a course of radiotherapy  and chemotherapy in December, which is 5 days a week for 5 weeks at the Kent Oncology Clinic in Canterbury hospital.  The next few months are going to be pretty tough,  and the treatment will have many side effects but at the end of it i will be cancer free. Although I've set the wheels in motion to claim the benefits I'm entitled to, I've got to wait out an assessment period of 3 months so will not get my first payment until February.

Unfortunately my treatment cannot wait until then, and I'm really struggling with the financial burden that cancer brings with it.

Against my better nature, and its taken a lot of guts to do this, I've decided to try and see if anyone would be in a position to try and help me cover the extra costs I've faced and will continue to face over the coming few weeks and months. I know times are tough for everyone this time of year, but if, with your help, I could raise enough to see me through the next few weeks and over Christmas, I'd be forever grateful and would never be able to thank you enough.

I've 2 young boys who I love so much, they have been incredible, a boyfriend i could only ever have dreamed about and the most fantastic parents a girl could wish for, but the stress and worry about where this extra money is going to come from is not good for any of us, I need to concentrate on getting better and I just feel I can't right now. I've never known a roller coaster of emotions like this in my life, and although I'm trying to remain positive,  some days it's easier said than done. I've typed and deleted this so many times, but I've swallowed my pride and done it, and I'd like to thank you all in advance for taking the time to read my story.
