Hi, my name is Saroj Sumiran and I am fundraising to build a home for a single mother and her 12-year-old daughter.
Ashwini and Nisha have been living from home to home since their house burnt down in October of 2021. She earns $35.00 a day which leaves her with nothing extra to be able to provide a roof for her daughter. The government of Fiji has given them $1000.00 and has done nothing else since then. If we can collect these funds, we can provide a roof so that both mother and daughter are safe. Not only are they homeless but keeping her daughter safe is the biggest worry for Ashwini.
I am traveling to Fiji to make sure your funds are used properly, and I have volunteers ready to start the project.
