Camp Fire Relief for Animals

After seeing the utter devastation of the Camp Fire in Paradise, CA, we are collecting donations in Portland, OR and renting a van to drive down and deliver them to the affected community and shelters taking in stranded animals in Butte County.
We are also trying to connect with a local rescue to help transport some animals back to be fostered. This way the shelters can free up more room for animals stranded during and after the fire.
We are asking for physical donations locally but we would so appreciate any monetary donations towards gas money and in order to purchase more supplies to pack that van!
We are updating as their needs change, but this list is based on what the Butte Humane Society is requesting at this time, which we will also distribute to smaller local rescues. Unwanted donations can become a hindrance after disasters so we are really trying not to be part of the problem
WHAT THEY NEED:
Dry and wet food, treats, collars, harnesses, leashes, cat litter, litter boxes, food bowls, crates, blankets, wire dog pens, beds, jackets, sweaters, toys, etc.
Charities are also asking for gift cards. Many people are on their last tank of gas. Businesses nearby that they are requesting cards for: Shell Station, Chevron, Target, Dollar Store, Dollar General, Walmart, Visa gift cards.
