Funeral expenses for William “Bruno” Block

UPDATE #2 (9/24/2022): I am expanding the gofundme to continue to help support Josey. We will be having a Memorial at Palmer Opera House in Cuba, NY. After the memorial, Josey will have to start the moving process and leave the home that she and Bruno shared. Her only family is in Kansas, and needs to be around her support system so she can access grief counseling and have help with her children. She will need further help with paying new and current bills, moving costs, and desperately needs help to continue her chemotherapy treatments while she continues her battle with Ovarian Cancer. We need to help keep this family afloat, they have lost their main support and provider but most importantly they have lost their partner, their step father and their life as they’ve known it. Let’s continue to show Josey and her family that we want them to persevere through this incredibly difficult time. I know Bruno would want them to be safe and happy, let’s help them achieve that! UPDATE: Bruno passed away as of 9/15/2022. The doctors tried everything they could to save him. Bruno fought hard as nails to stay with us, but his body in the end couldn’t handle it.  I am updating the gofundme because we need to rally with Josey and the kids right now.. 

I am updating this to ask for help with any potential funeral costs that arise for Josey, Josey & Bruno’s medical bills, and keeping Josey afloat. We need to be able to help her with housing, food, and so forth. My best friend has lost her entire world. She is broken.

Hello to everyone who comes across this; my name is Raven Hillyard, I am raising money for William “Bruno” Block. Bruno is a very dedicated marine who was critically injured in a one car motor vehicle accident on 9/10/2022. Bruno who was a passenger in the vehicle, ended up striking a tree on Bruno’s side and leaving him critically injured. Four critically injured, and Bruno’s friend Pauly who came to the aid of someone who was also ejected from the vehicle. Four people injured in the accident. Bruno and Pauly are our nations heroes and in a fatal MVA they were again. Bruno was Mercy Flighted and is currently in the trauma ICU at ECMC with a broken sternum, a broken femur, multiple broken ribs, a broken vertebrae in his neck along with two punctured lungs.. we do not currently know the rest of the extent of the injuries Bruno is currently facing. Bruno is also a full time caregiver for his wife, Josey Byrd, who is currently undergoing the red devil chemotherapy treatment for ovarian cancer, which Bruno was out raising money for on the day of the accident. They have 7 children between them in a blended family. Anyone who knows this family knows how hard they have been fighting and struggling to stay afloat from the medical bills piling up from Joseys’ cancer and now this. Bruno and Josey need help. This can no longer be ignored, this family is in serious crisis. So I ask, one more time to help this Marine in the fight for his life. We need to get Josey back and forth to ECMC, to put gas in the truck and to make sure they eat. Please help our brother, our friend, He deserves our love and support and desperately needs it.
