Brooks Allan Bohn

Brooks Allan and his twin sister Alice Taylor were born on October 17th via csection at 37.5 weeks.

Within 24 hours they noticed that Brooks, only 4lbs and 12oz, was not doing well.

They believe Brooks has something called Pulmonary Hypertension and was starting to deteriorate rapidly.

Fast forward to October 20th, A medical team from Edmonton flew out to Winnipeg with an ecmo machine as a last ditch effort to help baby Brooks. We had been praying for a miracle and God answered! The machine worked and has been successful which is a huge answer to prayer, but the journey is far from over! The first 24 hours on this machine is critical!

Now that the machine has been successfully hooked up, baby Brooks has since been transferred to Stollery Children’s Hospital in Edmonton. Brooks’ dad Brad and Brads mom have flown out to be there with baby Brooks while Brooks’ mom, Christine, stays back with his twin sister Alice and older sister Claire.

We have had so many people praying for Brooks and his family and we continue to ask for prayer during this very critical time.

We are also asking anyone who is financially able to, to help this family in any way you can by taking part in this GoFundMe Page. We have no idea what the future holds but we know this has been very unexpected and that the cost of food, accommodations and travel out to Edmonton can accumulate quickly and we know they could use all the prayers and support they can get.

All funds raised will go towards general expenses they might encounter during this journey. Things like travel expenses and food for them and any helpers they are utilizing, child care, or anything else they might need. If any additional funds are left over, they will be a gift to Brooks and his family.
