Bring The Scrap Space to Brighton!

We (Over the Moon Shoreham C.I.C., a non profit community arts organisation) currently run The Circular Space community reuse hub in Shoreham-by-Sea which has a scrapstore, 'The Scrap Space', and an activity space.

A scrapstore takes in donations of materials from households and businesses and redistributes it at low cost to individuals and organisations for creative reuse. This stops materials being thrown away and provides a low cost and inspiring source of resources to be creative with, such as for art, craft, play, theatre and DIY.

Demand for our scrapstore has been growing non stop and we plan to expand by opening additional branches of The Scrap Space in other parts of the South Coast. We know from talking to our current customers and local networks that there is demand for a Brighton Scrap Space and we have a great opportunity to open a branch of The Scrap Space a 5 minutes walk from Brighton station.

Another way you can help is by spending 5 minutes answering our survey here , whether you are a current customer of The Scrap Space or potential new customer. This will help us provide evidence to funders of the demand for a scrapstore in Brighton.
