Our Mission to Honduras: Bringing Healing, Hope, and the Love of Christ

God has placed a deep burden on our hearts for the people of Jutiapa, Honduras—a community where medical resources are limited and basic dental care is unavailable. Jutiapa has a small health center staffed by one doctor and two nurses who work tirelessly to meet the needs of the community. However, there is no access to dental services, and many children and adults live daily with untreated pain, infection, and preventable complications.

Our mission team is preparing to travel to Honduras to serve this community in both practical and spiritual ways. This is not simply a trip—it is a response to God’s call to care for the whole person: body, mind, and spirit. During our time in Jutiapa, we will be providing much-needed dental care, organizing children’s programs, and leading worship services designed to encourage and uplift the local families.

Dental care is one of the most urgent needs. For many in this community, something as simple as a toothache can become debilitating, affecting a child’s ability to eat, concentrate in school, or sleep at night. Adults often endure chronic pain because treatment is inaccessible or unaffordable. Through this mission, we hope to bring relief, restore dignity, and prevent long-term health problems by offering basic dental services that many of us take for granted.

Alongside healthcare, we will be running children’s programs that focus on love, safety, joy, and truth. These programs will include age-appropriate activities, Bible stories, songs, and lessons that point children to a God who sees them, values them, and cares deeply for their lives. For many children, these moments of attention, encouragement, and spiritual nurture can leave a lasting impression long after the mission team has gone home.

Worship and spiritual encouragement are central to everything we do. Through worship services, personal interactions, and prayer, we aim to share the hope found in Jesus Christ. We believe true healing is not only physical, but also spiritual—and that God’s love, when shared humbly and faithfully, has the power to transform lives.

This mission is made possible through prayer and partnership. Funds raised through this GoFundMe will help cover travel expenses, dental supplies, children’s program materials, and ministry costs directly related to serving the people of Jutiapa.
