Delaney was only 23 years old when she was called home to be reunited with her baby brother Danny. She was funny, kind, and stubborn as an ox! Laney had lived with severe epilepsy since childhood. She never let it define or limit her. She lived life fully and wanted to enjoy every minute!
Delaney had traveled to Oregon to spend time with friends and was expected to return home to Arizona soon after. On February 23rd, our family received the devastating news that she had passed away due to a seizure.
She was a daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend deeply loved by so many! Her passing has affected everyone close to her. Our aunt Jessica and uncle Travis are the kind of people who would give you the shirt off their back, no questions asked. As they are navigating both the emotional weight of this loss and the unexpected expenses that come with it, we want to try and ease some of their burden!
We are raising funds to help cover transportation costs from Oregon back home to Arizona so she is able to be reunited with her parents, siblings, and many relatives who love her. Transporting her back to Arizona requires multiple services and approvals, creating additional expenses and possible delays while our family waits to bring her home, along with unexpected costs for memorial and final arrangements needed to honor Delaney's life. Any support, whether through a donation or sharing this page, would mean more than we can express and would help relieve some of the burden as they take time to grieve and support one another.
