Unfortunately on 01/28 my uncle (Joseluis Rivera), along with his coworkers were taken by ICE. He is currently being held in an ICE detention center, and our family is fighting to bring him home. The immigration lawyers are charging $6,000-$12,000 and without legal representation he has no chance of getting released or receiving the protections he needs. We are raising money to help cover these legal fees so we can get him out of the detention center. He has lived here for many years, worked hard, and done everything he could to support his family. Any amount you can contribute—no matter how small—brings us one step closer to reuniting him with his family and giving him the chance to live safely and peacefully.
