We're calling it Fifth Pillar Tea House and we need your help to make it a reality.

Our Vision

The Fifth Pillar will be a community oriented, cozy tea house focused on high-quality loose-leaf teas sourced from organic farms around the world. We'll offer a curated menu of traditional black, green, oolong and herbal teas, along with a small selection of local baked goods and light bites. But it's more than just tea. We are passionate about being good neighbors and building a strong community. Through our rotating Communi-tea Blend, we will spotlight a different local organization that’s doing good in the area. Not only will we develop a bespoke recipe for each group, but also raise money for them with the purchase of every cup. We want to connect people in the area and be part of a brighter future. Help us be your go-to spot for a morning pick-me-up, an afternoon study session, or a relaxing evening chat while helping those around us.

Our Story

My name is Meg Giossi, and I've been a lifelong tea enthusiast. I've spent years studying herbalism and tea brewing in particular. If you know me, you’ll know my custom to fix anything and everything with a cup of tea. My passion for tea isn't just about the drink itself—it's about the connection and comfort it provides. I want to share that experience with my community by creating a space where everyone feels supported, welcome, and well.

After years of building the vision of Fifth Pillar Tea House, we've found a cozy location on Lisbon Street in downtown Lewiston. Lewiston is a budding, creative, vibrant city and we are so excited to be a part of it.
