Hi, my name is Monica and I'm fundraising for my sister, Christine Figueroa. She was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer that required her to undergo a double mastectomy. During the operation, they discovered that the chemotherapy did not get all the cancer. She will need radiation and possible hormone therapy. She is currently home recovering. She has two amazing children, Abby, who has been a Godsend, and Marco, who is currently in the Navy but checks on his mom as often as he's allowed. Unfortunately, Abby had to return home to another state. I am here to ask for help. I would love for my sister to be near family as she is currently battling this alone. This is something no one can prepare for mentally, physically, or emotionally. Everything has happened so quickly there wasn't much time to prepare financially either. I am hoping to raise funds to help her cover some medical bills and help her move closer to family. Anything you can donate would be truly appreciated during this difficult time.
