Bring Ashley and her girls together for Christmas!

Hi, I'm Beka and I'm raising funds for my friend Ashley and her two girls.

Ashley is a single mom of 2- Allieanna (almost 3) lives with her in Escanaba, and Athena (almost 7) lives in New York with a family member- due to a long and convoluted legal process she has never been able to visit her Mom in Michigan. Ashley has made the trip to New York as much as possible and maintains regular contact through video calls.

For the first time, Ashley has secured the approval to bring Athena here to Michigan from December 20-30- both Christmas and Athena's 7th birthday on the 28th!

Here is where we come in: as a single mom Ashley lives paycheck to paycheck working as a housekeeper at the Island Resort and Casino. Ashley beats the odds every day to provide for her kids and still manages to help people wherever possible.

I'm asking that we come together and help to fund Ashley's car trip- gas, food- to get Athena from New York and bring her back after their visit.

Gas: $500

Food: $250

Emergency Fund: $400+ (for a trip like this the "just in case" funds are a must)
