Bring a Smile to a Heartbroken Mother

Hello everyone. Please take a few moments to read my story, as I try to bring some much-needed light and magic into the life of someone very special to me, and that person is my mother. As most of you know these past few years have been devastating for my family, but especially for my mom. She lost her own mother last year, and now this year her only son. My grandmother's death was hard, but we all knew it was coming and were prepared. My brother on the other hand was so unexpected, it shattered her soul. She suddenly aged 10 years right before my eyes, and it broke my own heart even more. Only someone that has lost a child knows the pain she is feeling, and it hurts my heart so much that nothing I can say or do will help her. But I want to try. She is so selfless and is always there for her children when we need her. She actually just spent 800 dollars to fix my brothers car, and then 3 days later he passes away. She paid for all of his funeral services, and special necklaces for the family with his thumbprint on it, and never once asked for anything in return. A mother should not have to bury her child, but now that his service is over, and we all try to move on and heal, I wanted to do something small, but special for her. She needs some magic right about now, and as you all know she loves Disneyland. She went all the time as a child and raised us the same way. You know we go all the time, hence our probably annoying Facebook posts, but its modest. We stay at the cheapest hotel we can find, and we love it. But I know, she has a wish. We often eat lunch at this cafe that's located at the Disney Grand Californian pool, and she has often said she wished she could afford to stay there, just once in her life. I never thought it was worth the price when we live so close, shoot one night is the price of my rent, but I want to make this wish a reality for her. So, I went to my HR and applied to pull 3K from my 401K and was so excited to make this happen for her....and I was denied. My money and I can't even get it. Wild right. But! I am still going to make it happen, someway somehow. Then I thought of this, and I know so many amazing people would love to help me do this for her. So, whatever I don't raise I am covering the rest. My rent can be late, car payment etc., if need be, I don't care. She knows we are already going Aug 22nd for one night, and thinks we are staying at our usual spot, and I want to surprise her with a 2-night stay at her dream hotel, and let her have a day at the park, and a day at the pool she is always admiring. She deserves that. So family, friends, strangers, whatever you can donate towards this magic moment, I will be forever grateful. And don't share this if you are friends with her on FB unless you block her from the post, this HAS to be a surprise!
