My brother Brent was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer a week ago. This aggressive cancer has now also spread to his lymph nodes, heart, and pelvic bone. He is getting ready to start his first round of radiation and then chemo to follow. Surgery is no longer an option. As he faces this battle, he is also struggling financially as he has not been able to physically work for the past 4-5 months due to his illness, doctor's visits, tests/scans, and hospital stays. He has okay insurance but has had to borrow from friends and family for co-pays and prescriptions needed. He has applied for state assistance but they have not approved him yet. Any donation, big or small, will help him tremendously.
