Braden's Summer Engineering Program Fund

Hi, my name is Matt and I'm fundraising to support my nephew, Braden, and his engineering aspirations.

I've always been partial to my nephew. From an early age I noticed he demonstrated a natural talent and affinity for mathematics and sciences. While historically he's excelled in these subjects, this past year he's extended himself both academically and athletically.

Braden has earned straight As in all of his classes, generating a 4.1 GPA. He's received high honors for his academic achievements, and was awarded the Shining Ray of Light award, bestowed upon him by his classmates for bringing joy to the school. Recently he joined his local Boys and Girls Club basketball team and enrolled in Minds Matter Boston, a college preparatory program.

Braden exemplifies a student who is determined to take every available step to succeed. I know how hard Braden is working to prepare himself for the future and I want to ensure he is able to seize as many opportunities as are presented to him. That is why I'm reaching out and asking for your support in funding a pre-college summer engineering program.

Through Minds Matter Boston, Braden has been approached by Harvard, Tufts, and Temple universities about applying to their summer engineering programs. He's has also expressed interest in similar programs, such as the National Youth Leadership Forum, which could see him studying far away at prestigious UC Berkeley. These programs can immerse Braden in the undergraduate experience and further develop his interests in engineering, the only hurdle in his way is their cost.

Braden is doing his part by applying for scholarships and grants, but your support will guarantee that he can attend one of these programs and even enhance his experience, such as by additional classes, or field trips. All donation will go directly towards:
