Hi, my name is Jen Nickel and my son, Caden, is married to Bob and Judy’s daughter, Seanna. After a month of hospitalization due to sepsis, on January 4th, Bob had an emergency amputation of his lower leg at RIH and now requires life saving heart surgery in Kelowna due to a leaky heart valve. Things are very, very critical.

Judy is one of the most continually giving women you will ever meet. She is a Barriere town councillor, she runs the Mother Goose program, the after school program and many other childhood groups for families in our community. Even just before Christmas, she ran the children’s shopping event over several days even though Bob was In hospital.

Now, Judy and her family need help. The expenses of travelling to Kelowna, taking time off work, and the lengthy hospital stay are adding up. They are humbly asking their community for help.
