Mission Statement:

Most people do beach clean-ups. However, we focus on cleaning the shores of garbage. This is where most trash is, and people are not cleaning it.

That's the Blue Dot Mission.

This garbage is OUT OF CONTROL and needs to be cleaned up, educated about, and stopped from continuing.

This 6km stretch of coastline faces a northern position. Due to ocean currents and waves during storms, it's a natural area for collecting HUMAN TRASH left in our oceans.

Our mission is to clean this area up as best as possible and inspire other people in Taiwan and their local areas to continue cleaning up garbage in our collective yet local ecosystems.

The video below involves a clean-up we did at an area we call the Hermit House.

So far, we have removed thousands of bags of garbage and thousands of kgs of trash, making the environment in our area cleaner.

Watching this one video will make it very clear what our mission is!

Blue Dot Mission

This next video will show the garbage on Hermit Beach. This is the area we are cleaning now. Between March - July, we cleaned 400 bags from this area. It is a hidden beach from the public's view. However, it only takes 15 minutes to walk there from Fulong Beach.

It's a crazy amount of work to clean. Please support us in getting the resources needed to finish this year's project. We need money for bags, gloves, cutting tools, and a truck. As well, it takes many hours each time to clean. The hardest part of the job is carrying the garbage away from the shore to the roads along the path. The areas we tend are hard to access and have rocky terrain, so it's a dangerous area to work in. That's why most people do beach cleanups. However, our goal is to completely rid the Fulong Beach Area of ocean garbage.
