The strongest, hardest working man anyone has ever known, my hero, my Dad, Leo Curtis needs our help!

He has been battling a diabetic ulcer on his foot for quite some time this summer.. his foot has not made healing progress from July until Now. For financial security, he never stopped working during this time. (The man never had a chance to rest)

A visit to the hospital on Monday Oct 1st showed he would need his right leg amputated immediately from just below the knee. He was near death due to infection.

As you could imagine, this is an unplanned circumstance for my dad and for our family. In addition to medical expense, we are going to need help covering living expenses for the time being. I (Julie) will be taking time away from my job to care for my dad, making sure he is healthy and healing comfortably is most important to me.

It will be a long road and we're tough.

He is going to need help and peace of mind in knowing he can rest in order to be able to recover.
