Best Neighbor Ever Needs Help

Hello. My name is Jamie. I am am trying to help my friend and neighbor, Pat Reed, who is at imminent risk of becoming homeless. He has been our neighbor and our friend for 13 years. He is one of the best people I know. He is hardworking, honest, and kind. He has run his own business as a window cleaner for over 20 years. This is how he has paid his bills, his rent, and maintained his modest, honest, working class life. He has utilized his pickup truck and several very tall and very expensive ladders to this end. Recently his 1990 Ford Ranger gave up the ghost. It has quit running, and the cost to repair it would be more than the cost to buy a whole new vehicle. To compound the troubles, his 40 foot ladder, which is a necessity for his bigger jobs, has just been stolen. This ladder alone will cost $700 to replace. He needs to earn money to buy a new truck. However, without a truck and ladder to work with, he has no way to earn any money. He is truly in a catch 22. I am very worried about him. He is facing actual homelessness very soon, and if that happens, I don't see how he will ever get back on his feet again. I am sincerely hoping we can raise enough money to replace his pickup truck in time for him to start working again.
