Ben & Ursula Kiesler

Donation protected

Many of you have been blessed by Ben and Ursula Kiesler… What you may not be aware of is that Ursula has been going through tremendous health issues this past year. She has been transported via ambulance, has had hospital stays, been sent to get treatment for a rare bacterial infection which required IV therapy, has had heart issues, and the list goes on.

Medical expenses are the most expensive, and the most relentless. To keep Ursula’s heart in a regular rhythm, she needs to undergo a cardiac ablation. It is fairly routine, however, her insurance does not cover much of this cost. Couple this with her ongoing severe abdominal pain (which is still undiagnosed as to cause) and her now constant vertigo, she has been unable to work (or even sit up) which has put Ben and Ursula in a position they never thought they would be in. They have to ask for financial assistance instead of providing it to others. The loss of Ursula’s income has been extremely detrimental to their household expenses and they need help as Ben’s income alone is not enough to sustain them.

It is the season of giving, and the Lord knows that Ben and Ursula have given so very much to those around them. Their generosity has been unparalleled and they have blessed countless people in the community. Please consider giving back to them. Ben and Ursula have made it clear to their 3 kids that they need to lower their expectations for Christmas gifts this year. Their oldest daughter asked if she could be excluded from receiving anything so that her siblings could have a better Christmas.

They have applied for other assistance, but government offices move slowly, especially between Thanksgiving and Christmas when the need is so great. There is no guarantee they will be approved, let alone receive the help they need before the next mortgage payment is due.

They would not ask for help outright, but I have faith that the people which have been encouraged and blessed by Ben & Ursula will come to their aid and help them in this dark time. If you know them at all, you know Christmas is their favorite season, and the atmosphere has been bleak in their household. The Christmas decorations are not even set up (which are normally up in October). Please give them a love offering to make them feel as loved as George Bailey in “It’s a Wonderful Life”. They would appreciate it tremendously. May God bless you.
