At birth, Ayman Barbaresco was diagnosed with a neurological disorder called Neurofibromatosis Type 1 and in his short 27 years has endured many ongoing complications. He has overcome cancer (brain tumour) at the young age of just 3 years old, scoliosis causing discomfort and pain and in 2012, his second brain tumour that was operable and non-cancerous plus many other complications.
Now, in 2017 he is about to undergo more tests, procedures and potentially an operation as his second brain tumour is growing back.
You can imagine with these medical conditions there are many ongoing costs that are associated, including private health insurance, specialist costs that are only partially covered by Medicare, flights to see his specialst team in Sydney, ongoing maintenance and relief with massage and chiropractor appointments and many other costs associated.
This round of treatment is going to be tough for Ayman as he has no family in Melbourne. Ayman relocated to Melbourne in 2013 to start a new life and kick some amazing goals. To his friends, Ayman is known as 'the busiest man in Melbourne'
Let's get behind Ayman and support him get through this round of treatment. Any donation would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much for your support.
