Dear family & friends,
What a journey. One that will continue to shape and impact our lives forever. Many of you have willingly journeyed with us as my mom has recovered. We praise God for the work he has done in her life, for the healing that has taken place in her body, and for the ways he has used her story for his glory. She continues to work hard to get strong enough to return home. Some days are easier than others and we appreciate your continued prayers and support.
God has been so faithful to provide in many ways over these past few months. We truly lack nothing. But today I did receive a phone call from my dad asking for prayer. He was told by insurance that he would have to begin to pay a daily rate, out of pocket, as his insurance has “run out.” We are unsure of how long Mom will stay at the rehab facility but we know it could be at least another month. Dad did specifically say that he is not worried and he’s so thankful that insurance has covered the past 3 months. He knows God will provide and I do too.
With all that being said, after making a phone call to my sister, we feel led to ask for financial support for my mom and dad. Would you please consider giving? It’s an interesting thing to do when you’re the one asking. But I think of the many times it’s been such a privilege to give. I am hiding this from my mom and dad. If I asked them for their permission, they would probably say no. But here we are.
I realize that not everyone can give financially. Your prayers have moved mountains and have touched our lives forever. Thank you, thank you, thank you ♥️
