Supporting James’s future: in memory of Tom Nash

On Friday, 25th August, our lives were turned upside down following a tragic accident, a consequence of a negligent driver. We are now mourning the loss of a beautiful soul - Tom Nash. A loving daddy, a devoted husband, a cherished brother, a wonderful son, and a dear friend - his absence has left a void that words can never describe.

As many people know, Tom's laughter was infectious, his joy a light that warmed everyone around him. As a loving husband and daddy, his devotion knew no bounds, always putting his wife, Madison, and their son, James, at the forefront of his heart. His steadfast commitment to their happiness and security truly reflected his deep love for his family.

As godparents, we were honoured the day Tom and Madison chose us to play a special role in James's life. Never did we anticipate a world where we would have to step into these shoes so soon, carrying the torch of love and guidance that Tom would have provided. But we promise, Tom, we will do our best to love and care for James as if he were our own.

Following the loss of Tom, we, alongside Madison and their loving family, have embraced the responsibility of guiding James through life without his beloved daddy. Our commitment is steadfast - providing James with the love, care, and support that Tom would have wanted for his little man. Our mission is to shape James’s future in line with the dreams Tom and Madison planned together for him. We aim to ensure that James's journey ahead is filled with promise and potential.

Just coming up to his second birthday, James has his whole life ahead of him, one that should be filled with the dreams and aspirations Tom held close to his heart. We envisage the milestones that would have been: the first football match, learning to play the sport his daddy loved, signing up for the first team, the many holidays they would have all cherished together, right up to the anticipation of his seventeenth birthday, where Tom would have ensured James had the best car for his driving lessons. And everything else in between.

In honour of Tom's memory and in lieu of flowers, we invite you to contribute towards securing James’s bright future. Your generosity will allow us to carry Tom's legacy forward, equipping James with the opportunities he deserves. Together, let's ensure that Tom's spirit lives on through the path we forge for James.
