Atlantis Project Fundraiser
Hello everyone! For those of you who don't know me, I plan on pursuing a career in the healthcare industry. Most of you know that this is a very competitive field so the more experience, the better. That's where the Atlantis Project comes in.
The Atlantis Project is a study abroad program that I happened to come by one day. It has many different programs and out of them I chose the Clinical Shadowing. This allows students to spend a few weeks at a hospital and shadow doctors for 20 hours a week, asking questions and understanding what it's like to be in this profession. My trip will take place in Villarrobledo, Spain for 3 weeks starting May 2018 at Hospital General de Villarrobledo.
This will be my first experience in the field and I am very excited and grateful to have been given this opportunity. I am very passionate about the medical industry and hope to one day become a pathologist, but to do that I need all the experience I can get to ensure the best career opportunities. Studying abroad looks extrememly good on a resume, but it is also a very costly thing to do.
I would be immensely grateful if my family, friends and whoever else sees this helps out with my travel funds. I never thought I would be doing something this amazing, especially not this early in my life and I would be forever thankful if you guys helped make this dream a reality.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and I hope you can chip in. Every little bit helps!
