On January 3, 2020, family members and countless friends lost a remarkable man due to a heinous act of violence. Mark Milton was cruelly and viciously gunned down while sitting alone in a U-Haul truck at a storage facility. This senseless homicide proved to be the first murder in the City of Moorpark since 2005. His assailant was apprehended and is currently awaiting arraignment.

Mark was a kind and loving family man and friend. Mark was quick with a joke and a presence and smile that would light up a room. An Electrician by trade, Mark spent countless hours volunteering his time helping others and working on new and remodeled construction. He was a very spiritual man with outstanding morals. Mark would do absolutely anything for anyone.
We are close friends and neighbors who have been in constant communication with the family. We started this GoFundMe to help our friends. All the money raised will be for the family both for immediate needs as well as ongoing expenses that will be anticipated. He was the sole provider for the family and they will need our ongoing help for the immediate and anticipated future financial needs.
We are deeply saddened because of this tragedy. We long for the time when God will “wipe out every tear . . . , and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.”—Revelation 21:4.
