Assist Dave with Chandler's Medical Journey
Donation protected
Hey everyone, I am writing this with a very heavy heart. My friend Dave's 14-year-old son Chandler has been in the hospital fighting for his life for going on 2 weeks. On Wednesday, March 12, Chandler was diagnosed with Flu B. The doctor sent him home and told him to stay hydrated!
On Saturday, March 15, Chandler started having chest pain and trouble breathing. Dave, of course, rushed him back to the ER, and a few days later he was transferred to a hospital in Baltimore and admitted to the PICU. Dave has been a single father to Chandler and his 2 brothers since they were born. They live over an hour away from the hospital, and it costs over $100 in gas and parking every day. Dave isn't able to work and has a younger child at home that he has to take care of. So unfortunately, running back and forth is necessary.
Dave has finally given me the OK to create a GoFundMe to ask for help. At this time, we do not know how long Chandler will be hospitalized, and the bills are piling up. The radiator in the car he is driving just started leaking and has to be replaced, and the hospital does not provide free parking to the families of their patients. At this time, I am asking for donations to help Dave be able to go see his son and still be able to provide for his other two children. Anything you can donate will help. However, if you're not able to donate, can you please share this post and say a prayer for this family? Thank you in advance for all of your help and continued prayers.
