Assist Dave in Rebuilding After Illness

Hi, the name is Dave.

About 6 months ago, I was hospitalized with peripheral neuropathy. I was unable to stand under my own strength, had severe overall weakness, and couldn't even feed myself.

After a couple weeks in the hospital, I was moved into a physical rehabilitation center and began to regain strength and coordination.

Luckily, the VA covered the majority of the bills. Furthermore, after a couple weeks of inpatient rehab, I was able to receive outpatient care from the Austin VA clinic. With the help obtained there and continuing at home, I am almost back to being normal. I still have some health issues that hopefully won't be permanent, but I am confident I can go back to a mostly normal life.

Through several veteran programs, as well as my family, my mortgage and utilities have been mostly taken care of. Unfortunately, with so much time accumulated without work, several bills have piled up.

So I have come to ask for help from those who might lend it. I have been applying for jobs for about a month now, so I'm hoping something comes along soon.
