Mike Bales

On Sunday afternoon, Mike was riding  motorcycles with a group of friends when someone in the opposing lane crossed over the yellow line and he was hit head on. He was air lifted to Kelowna Hospital where he  was taken immediately into emergency surgery to stabilize the multiple severe fractures to his left hip and leg along with several other significant injuries to the left side of his body.  He sustained a collapsed lung and has chest tube in place. Mike has also received a blood transfusion as a result of his injuries. At this time he is ICU and is scheduled for 2 more surgeries in the near future. Mike has a long road to recovery and will need to have extensive rehab. We are raising money to help him with bills and expenses so he can concentrate on healing.
